Sam is an attorney with a wide range of experience in handling cases and claims that involve analysis of medical records and medical bills.

From 2007 to 2012, Sam represented personal injury clients in Massachusetts. Upon moving to New York in 2012, Sam began representing clients in disability insurance claims. Sam handled cases from inception through trial, and has worked closely with medical experts in numerous fields of medicine.

Sam recognizes the crucial role that medical records and medical bills play at every stage of a case. Drawing on his experience, he co-founded AcroDocz along with his colleague, Vinod Sankaran, to create products tailored to the legal industry. AcroDocz’s products, a medical record summary and medical billing summary, were developed with a deep understanding of the essential information needed for successful claims and lawsuits.

Sam received a bachelor’s degree from State University of New York at Buffalo and a J.D. from New England School of Law in Boston. He is admitted to practice law in New York, New Jersey and Massachusetts.

Vinny has a background in industrial engineering and finance. He is a co-founder of Medical Billing Wholesalers (MBW), which supports medical billing companies, healthcare practices, hospitals, revenue cycle software providers, and EMR companies across the United States. He has grown the company from 3 employees in 2010 to approximately 400 employees with multiple locations in the United States and abroad. The company processes over 75,000 claims per month. As the CEO, Vinny oversees the growth of the company and the development of new technology that includes sophisticated automation and a proprietary workflow platform that increases efficiency and reduces errors.

Vinny is an expert in medical billing and healthcare business management. He has spoken at numerous conferences, including, HBMA and NSCHBC, and has conducted webinars on topics that included RCM, RPA and automation, and AI in healthcare.

He used his extensive and intricate knowledge of medical billing to create AcroDocz’s products, including its billing summaries, along with Sam Karpel.

Vinny received a dual master’s degree in Quantitative Finance and Industrial Engineering from Oklahoma State University, and earned several certifications, including a certification in AI for Business from Wharton.

Priyanka has over 10 years of experience in applying Machine Learning, Deep Learning and Generative AI to various industries and challenges.

As the founder of an AI start-up, a cutting-edge consulting firm specializing in Generative AI, Priyanka has spearheaded the development and productization of innovative solutions leveraging large language models (LLMs) and other state-of-the-art AI technologies. With a deep expertise in this domain, she has successfully delivered a wide range of LLM-based applications.

Prior to founding the AI startup, Priya worked for two large banks, Scotiabank and Capital One, where she oversaw the implementation of fraud technology and balance transfer technology while utilizing machine learning to drive strategy and manage cross-functional teams.

Priya holds a master’s degree in Technology from Georgia Tech, a bachelor’s degree in Technology from IIT Delhi, and an AI graduate certification in Artificial Intelligence from Stanford University.
